Real handbells were used in this card. Each bell was recorded individually.
First I recorded piano notes to use when I was creating the music scores. I assigned notes to certain frames of the movie clips to make the songs. That way the sounds correspond to the movements of the handbell players.
Then my friend Cheryl Baker helped me to record some of her handbells. We worked to get the sound just right. Handbells are hard to record well. Cheryl is a professional. She also arranges and sells handbell sheetmusic.
